The 2500 and 3500 come with a 6.0L V8 engine standard, though a 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 is available. All Silverados come with a heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission. Ahead of a reported redesign for 2020, the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD remain mostly unchanged. Regular-cab models have been discontinued, however, and a Mosaic Black Metallic exterior paint is new. A Buildout Edition is available on LTZ trims. It includes special badging and decals, chrome accents, a bedliner, and front and rear park assist.
